Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist to join our finance team. This role combines accounts receivable functions with a strong focus on collections to ensure timely cash flow and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments and apply them to the correct accounts
• Generate and send invoices to customers
• Maintain accurate customer account records and aging reports
• Initiate collection efforts on past-due accounts
• Contact customers to resolve billing disputes and arrange payment plans
• Utilize collection tools and strategies to maximize recoveries
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable and collections reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in accounts receivable and collections
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Knowledge of accounting principles preferred
• Experience with collection software or CRM systems a plus
